Local charities we support
SLO Noor Foundation
In 2009, Dr. Ahmad Nooristani recognized the need to provide care to uninsured adults in SLO County. The first SLO Noor Medical Clinic opened in October 2011 as a 501(c)3 to aid this problem by providing free, high quality, non-emergent health care to those who could not otherwise afford to access care in San Luis Obispo County and northern Santa Barbara County.
Prado Day Center
Since September 1997, Prado has provided essential day-to-day services for homeless members of our community. Meals served by People's Kitchen, showers, laundry facilities and other vital services are available. The road of self-sufficiency is also aided with assistance for those seeking employment, housing referrals, social services, and enriching activities for the children.
SLO Food Bank
The Food Bank Coalition is the only countywide source of nutritious food for people in need from San Miguel to Nipomo. Working hand in hand with volunteers, donors, corporate sponsors, and non-profit agency partners, it's their mission to see that no one in our county goes hungry.
